Frequently Asked Questions:  About Our 2020-2021 Season

What will the Port Angeles Symphony’s 2020-2021 Season look like?

When we are in Washington State’s Phase 3, we will offer internet-based video performances, released on or soon after the listed concert date. In Phase 4, we plan to present two live performances on concert days, morning and evening, and open our Thursday evening dress rehearsals to the public.

How do I subscribe for the 2020-2021 Season?

Subscriptions will not be sold this season, due to the unpredictable nature of the pandemic.

How will tickets be sold for live concerts (Phase 4)?

Once we are in Phase 4, tickets will be sold on a per-event basis for the 2020-2021 season, on-line, at local ticket outlets, and by telephone through the Symphony office. Stay tuned for more information!

I was a subscriber to the Symphony in 2019-2020. What will happen to my reserved seats from the last season?

Your seats will be held for you until the next subscription drive, planned for Summer 2021!

How many programs are scheduled for this season?

We plan to present five orchestra programs this season, allowing us to begin rehearsals in October, spread out our events for maximum flexibility, and temporarily avoid the smaller venues for Pops and Chamber Orchestra programs. It is our hope that normal programming can return in fall 2021.

How will the live concert experience be different this season (in Phase 4)?

Concert attendance in 2020-2021 will be limited to allow for distancing. Programs will be shorter than usual, averaging 60 minutes of music each, and will be performed without intermission. The Port Angeles Symphony Chorus will be on hiatus for the 2020-2021 season, for health and safety reasons.
